How much does an apartment search with flaty cost?
It depends on where and what you are looking for. We agree the price individually in the first call, before you commit to anything.
Are you an estate agency?
No. flaty is a search service for tenants. We do not let our own apartments; we run your search on the open market.
Which cities do you cover?
All of Germany. You tell us your city and preferred area, and we search right there. The search runs online; you go to the viewings yourself.
How does the process work?
You send the form and we get back to you in your time slot. In the first call we set up your search profile. Then we check listings, apply for you and arrange viewings with you.
How long does the search take?
That depends on the city, your budget and your criteria. In the first call we tell you honestly what is realistic for you, and we adjust the search if it takes longer.
I have a WBS. Does that help?
Yes. With a Wohnberechtigungsschein (WBS, the German housing entitlement certificate) subsidised apartments are open to you too. Mention it in the form and we search for them specifically.
Do I have to go to viewings myself?
Yes. Only you can tell whether an apartment feels right. We arrange the times and tell you beforehand which documents to bring.
Do you speak English?
Yes. The first call and everything we agree with you can be in German or English. We write applications in German, as landlords expect.
What happens to my data?
We use your details only for your apartment search and for contacting you. This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking. The privacy policy has the details.
